The last unspoiled Swiss river – Sense River, Switzerland | |
The Sense River is a tributary of the Saane River in Switzerland. The Sense flows through a gorge of 15 km length. After about 35 km, the Sense joins the Saane River, part of the Rhine River catchment. The Sense River is the last free flowing river in Switzerland, but it is now under threat by a hydoelectric project.
