Salmon rivers Québec, Canada

The rivers situated in the centre of the Gaspé Peninsula in the Province of Québec are the most highly prized Atlantic Salmon Rivers in Eastern Canada. Finding their headwaters in the heart of the Chic-Choc Mountains (Notre-Dame), they are flowing a distance of about 100 km before finally emptying into the Gaspé Bay. Aside from the last few kilometres the rivers are flowing largely through the Gaspé wilderness. They are tributaries of the Gaspé Bay, a vital part of the Atlantic salmon's migration route.
